Phillip Royce Blakesley, Jr. passed away December 13, 2009. He was born in Arkansas City, KS on July 28, 1962. He was the son of Phillip Royce, Sr. and Rita Jean (Dunbar) Blakesley.

Phillip was an aircraft mechanic and loved all things related to airplanes and flying. He also enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and anything mechanical, especially when shared with friends or family members.

He had a strong devotion to family and friends and was profoundly supportive and proud of his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was always willing to give help to anyone who asked.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Phillip and Pansy Blakesley and Dale Dunbar, and brother Jefferson Lee Blakesley.

Phillip is survived by his parents; Phillip and Rita Blakesley, wife, Colleen Blakesley, children, Ashley Danielle Blakesley, James Robert Land, and Phillip Dale Blakesley; granddaughters Michaela Rose Blakesley, Leilani Kathleen Land and grandmother, Lillian Williams.

Friends may call at the mortuary from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Christian Church in South Haven, Kansas.

Interment will be in the Caldwell City Cemetery, Caldwell, Kansas.
