Porter Fisher

August 6, 1929 ~ March 17, 2017

Porter Y. Fisher, 87, of Mesa Arizona, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Mesa Arizona.

He was the only child of Drexel S. and Hazel M. (Yelton) Fisher, born August 6, 1929 at Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Porter served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 until 1959.  He retired in 1989 as Director of Sales for Santa Fe Railway in Kansas City, Missouri, then moved to Mesa, Arizona to enjoy his favorite pastime of golf.

Marlene Savage

July 4, 1933 ~ March 16, 201707

Marlene L. (Wykes) Savage, 83, was born July 4, 1933 in Alhambra, California to James L. and Evelyn N. (Bobek) Wykes and passed away March 16, 2017 in Caldwell, Kansas.

Growing up, dance was important and she studied from age 8 to 17 at the Lillian Haughton School of Dance in El Monte, California.  Marlene loved horses, riding and helping her father with barn chores.  She attended El Monte High School where she was a majorette with the marching band and graduated in 1951.

Frances Cadek

September 20,1927 ~ March 9, 2017

Frances Cadek of Caldwell, Kansas died Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Sumner Regional Medical Center at the age of 89.

Frances was born the daughter of William Kozak and Anna Rubes Kozak on September 20, 1927.

On April 1, 1945, Alfred and Frances Cadek were united in marriage.  Together they celebrated 27 years of marriage before his passing in 1972.  To this union they had four children, Shirley, Gary, Linda and David.

Bettyjo Taylor

April 8, 1929 ~ March 5, 2017

Bettyjo Lucille (Rains) Taylor was born April 8, 1929, in Caldwell, KS to Arthur and Lydia (Worley) Rains.  She had one brother, Lewis Rains.  Bettyjo passed away at Golden Living Center in Wellington, KS on March 5, 2017, at the age of 87.
